Workers Compensation
Having sustained an injury whilst in the work place is a very common occurrence. An average working day requires at least 8 hours of work, generally 5 days per week. With so much of our lives spent working, generally in poor ergonomic positions, there is no wonder that workplace injuries are common.
How do I know whether I am getting appropriate workers compensation treatment?
Effective workers compensation protocol requires the communication between your Nominated Treating Doctor, Physiotherapist, Employer, Surgeon (if appropriate) and insurance company case manager. At Momentum Physiotherapy we employ Occupational Therapists who work hard to ensure that all involved parties are providing the appropriate information and treatment regarding your work related injury.
Our occupational therapists are also able to provide onsite assessments of your workplace to ensure your work environment is optimal for your return to work and ongoing employment.
At Momentum Physio, all of our Physiotherapists are qualified with WorkC over NSW and have undertaken the required training to provide comprehensive workers compensation treatment.
