What is Clinical Pilates?
Clinical Pilates is a modified exercise practice that improves strength, stability, mobility, flexibility and proprioception.
It is suitable for a variety of conditions including postural related conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, transition from ‘hands on’ treatment, pre-natal and post-natal exercise.
We see ourselves as movement re-educators and work with you to establish a solid foundation of core muscle activation and transition to more challenging exercises that build strength and stability through the whole body.
This service is currently only available at our Bella Vista practice.
How are sessions stuctured?
All of our sessions are conducted by an Australia Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) trained Physiotherapist.
We offer both individual and small group classes in our clinic space, depending on your individual needs.
To provide an effective program we will always start with an Initial Consultation prior to commencing ongoing Group classes.
Depending on your previous experience and injury history, 1-3 private sessions may be beneficial before joining a class.
Class descriptions and pricing are listed below:
Individual 1:1 session (60min) – Initial Assessment or Ongoing Private Session – $110.00
Group 2:1 session (30min) – $45.00 (per person)
As all Clinical Pilates sessions are conducted by qualified Physiotherapists, if you have a private health insurance rebate available for Physiotherapy you should be able to claim for your sessions.
PLEASE NOTE: Clinical Pilates sessions are currently only available at our Bella Vista practice.
